Lenovo known for its business focus computers launches its first all-in-one PC, the Lenovo IdeaCenter A600. This all-in-one PC is touted as the a home entertainment computer that features a rare motion-sensitive remote similar to the Nintendo Wii remote. Basically users can play games or control the onscreen cursor by using motions and gestures at the PC rather than using a directional pad or mouse. The A600 also comes with a wireless mouse and keyboard that includes a full-sized trackpad for navigating from a distance anywhere in the room.

With a base price of about $1000 the Lenovo Idea Center A600 will feature 4GB of RAM, integrated Dolby-certified 2.1-channel sound system, Windows Media Center, a slim 21.5-inch 1080p HD display, Wi-Fi and a webcam.

Altec Lansing’s BackBeat 906 Bluetooth headset will be introduced at CES later this week. The headset was developed in partnership with Plantronics, a Bluetooth earpiece maker. With Plantronics’ dual-mic AudioIQ technology, users can dial by voice, redial numbers or transfer calls from the headset back to the phone and vice versa. There is an adapter to make non Bluetooth phones, such as the iPhone transmit the connection and the range is 33 feet. Expect the Altec Lansing Backbeat 906 to be available in February, at about $130.

Iomega’s new Home Media Network external hard drive. The main function is for network attached storage, for sharing music, photos and video between computers, TVs, and game consoles such as the Playstation 3. It connects to the internet and you can stream media via iTunes. Also to keep it simple it can be used just as backup drive for all your media. There is a 500GB and 1TB model that costs of $160 and $230 respectively. A unique service is that the Iomega external hard drive comes with a free basic subscription to the online MozyHome backup service.

Set to be launched at the CES in Las Vegas, the Wrap 920AV will solve problems of both appearance and viewing angles by having traditional summer sunglasses design. This design will prove to be more stylish as well as switch the narrow display of the past to make for a wider and more natural display view. Vuzix says the virtual reality glasses will be compatible with “any” portable media player. More details are due at CES, which begins on January 8th.
