Casio Exilim EX-FC100 and EX-FS10 High Speed 1000 FPS Compact Cameras

Casio has introduced two Exilim cameras that are the first ever “point-and-shoot” digital cameras that shoot up to 1000 fps (frames per second). The EX-FC100 and EX-FS10 both take standard pictures at 9 megapixels, however, they have powerful imaging technology that can capture lower-resolution videos at up 1000fps. This allows for extremely slow motion footage despite the cameras’ compact size. Users can also take it to 6 megapixels to burst shoot at 30 frames per second and also will record 720p movies at the same speed. The FS10 is $350 featuring 3X zoom with a 2.5-inch display and the FC100 is the high-end version at $400 featuring 5X optical zoom lens with a 2.7-inch LCD, respectively.
