Palm is staying competitive with its new smartphone the Palm Pre, which is operated by Palm’s new touch-based webOS mobile platform. The Palm Pre has a 3.1-inch touch screen with a full slide-out QWERTY keyboard, 8GB of storage, Wi-Fi/Bluetooth/GPS, and a 3mp camera with a LED flash. The touchsreen also features a gesture area, where users have access to more controls. Sold along with the Palm Pre phone is the Touchstone, an inductive charging dock that lets you charge the phone wirelessly just by laying the Palm Pre on top of it.
