Today HTC has introduced the Magic, it’s the second-ever Google Android device and the first to have an iPhone-like virtual keyboard. The phone is upgraded from the G1 with improved 3.2 megapixel camera and faster connectivity with 7.2Mbps HSDPA-based 3G data access. The device is also slimmed down while maintaining the 3.2-inch touchscreen and trackball controls. Video capture and stereo Bluetooth support is most likely to be available with this phone. Of course, the phone will have all the standard Google applications such as Gmail, Gtalk, Search and Google Maps. At the moment the HTC Magic is set to launch in Europe and will be available solely through Vodafone in Germany, Spain and the UK. The HTC Magic phone may still be brought to the United States under the T-Mobile service.
