Avaak’s Vue Personal Video Network

Avaak’s Vue personal video network allows you set up an in-home security or monitoring the system video feed by access over the Internet. The cameras are also battery-powered and wireless that have a “peel and stick” magnetic mount so you can set it in place quickly. The cameras can wirelessly transmit up to 300 feet, this can be extended with additional receivers.

The video can be captured at either 320×160 resolution at 7fps or 160×120 resolution at 15fps. An integrated CMOS sensor can also capture still JPEG images. You can view or manage the feeds through a private online account on my.VueZone.com, where you can also see each camera’s battery status. Each account includes 2GB of online storage for recordings that can be upgraded to larger storage. Priced at $300, the Vue will be available in summer of 2009.
