Thinnest LED LCD TV By LG at CES

LG says it will unveil the world’s slimmest LED-backlit LCD TV at the 2009 International Consumer Electronics Show (CES) in Las Vegas. The screen size of the LH95 is unknown, but LG states that the TV is less than one inch thick. Also confirmed is that the thin LED-backlit LCD TV will have an extremely high 2,000,000:1 contrast ratio, and LG’s 240Hz TrueMotion Drive technology, for increased performance with image motion. No word on the pricing yet, but this TV is a sure sign of things to come with LED innovation.

White Pentax Camera

Pentax announces a limited edition of its white K2000 camera with a double zoom kit. The camera will have the standard 10.2 megapixel sensor and a 2.7-inch wide-view LCD monitor. It also features a custom image mode with six preset options and a full auto picture mode to automatically take control of the scene. Lenses for the limited edition white Pentax, includes an smc 50-200mm F4-5.6 AL lens and smc 18-55mm F3.5-5.6 Al lens and both come in the same white color. Expect to see the white version to appear in February for about $800.

Guitar Hero Controller The War Beast by DreamGear

The game Guitar Hero has become quite the phenomenon and is one of the more popular interactive games on the market. The video game accessory maker, DreamGear has announced a guitar controller for the Playstation3 called the War Beast. This guitar controller is the only full-sized guitar replica on the market. It has a removable neck and headstock for convenient transport. The War Beast is very stylish, featuring a smooth finish and a strum bar that lights up. They are currently priced at $130.

HDMIX DJ Computer by Newmark

Numark introduces the HDMIX DJ computer equipment which performs as a DJ mixer for files from CD-RWs, DVD-RWs, hard drives or usb/flash drive. It also has a 80GB hard disk that can be expanded to 1TB of capacity. The user interface is high-resolution color LCD where you can sort, file and create playlists.

Pocket PC Raon Everun

The Raon Everun is a pocket PC that is capable of the full Windows XP operating system. Powered by 600 or 700 MHz AMD processor and between 16-32GB of storage, The Raon Everun also features a sharp 800×480, 4.8-inch touchscreen display, full QWERTY keypad, a USB 2.0 port, Bluetooth 2.0, and Wi-Fi.

MediaSmart servers EX485 and EX487 by HP

HP has launched two new MediaSmart servers EX485 and EX487.These two new servers are more improved including better usability with the Apple’s Time Machine and also compatibility with Mac OS in general, however there is still a need for a PC for configuration. The MediaSmart servers also have been upgraded to be capable of saving data online. While the hardware of the new models are more powerful with a 2.0Ghz Celeron with 2GB of RAM, enabling them to be fast enough to convert music files immediately for streaming tunes on the internet.

Wrist Watch Phone by LG

LG has announced its latest mobile product, the LG-GD910 wrist-phone that features support for both 3G and HSDPA network technology. The “wrist-watch-phone” has a 1.43-inch color LCD touchscreen and a video camera is embedded into the screen for video recording or conferencing. The LG-GD910 also is capable of TTS or text-to-speech functionality. There is an MP3 playback and voice dialing with speech recognition. Keep a look out for the official debut of the LG wrist phone at the CES event in January.

Zenvo ST1 Danish Supercar

The Zenvo ST1 is the Danish supercar that is sure to turn some heads. The design is intense and has an even more intense supercharged and turbocharged v8 engine that produces 1104 horsepower, rocketing the car to 60mph in about 3 seconds. However, these cars are only limited to 15 units to be produced.

Waterproof iPod Cases from Focal

The Japanese company Focal has announced new waterproof speaker cases for the iPod with its AquaTune series. These ipod cases use polycarbonate construction with O-ring seals and have been tested to keep the iPod free of water when submerged at up to 1 meter (~3.3 feet) for 30 minutes. There is flexible membrane made of silicon rubber for users to operate the iPod touchpad and click wheel. With the 1.8-inch diameter speakers you can blast your tunes at the next poolparty. These devices are priced at around $175.
