New LG Incite Touchscreen at ATT

Previously AT&T introduced the Samsung Eternity touchscreen phone and today AT&T has added another full touchscreen phone with the LG Incite. The main difference is that the Incite is a full Windows Mobile 6.1 smartphone and comes with an LG-customized screen that encourages more use of finger input than using a stylus. The Incite also has an accelerometer to generate a landscape keyboard when you tilt the phone on its side. The touchscreen phone also has the capabilities common with AT&T service such asTeleNav-run Navigator mapping, mobile downloads from eMusic and Internet radio from XM.

The company Maxian has unveiled the M1 Edu a personal media player to date full of features. The M1 Edu has a 3.5-inch, 1,600-color LCD with either an 8GB or 16GB NAND flash memory capacity. While an SD memory card slot lets you quickly share or expand files. The device also supports MPEG1 through to MPEG4-format video files, along with WMV, AVI and less popular codecs. Not to mention a variety of music and photos playback functions.

With Intel’s Core i7 debut, Dell has launched a high-end new gaming system XPS 730x. The system comes with faster processors and the option of factory-overclocked chips. Two out of the three pre-built systems use Core i7 Extreme Edition chips. The base system is priced at $2,599 and features a 2.93GHz processor, 3GB of memory, a 640GB hard drive, a Radeon HD 4850 for video and a Creative SoundBlaster X-Fi for audio. The XPS 730x also has different variables with liquid cooling. While they also have GeForce GTX 280 or Radeon HD 4870 X2 video, and more has a 300GB Western Digital Velociraptor for ultimate performance.

ASUS P565 Touchscreen Phone

ASUS has announced the launch of its P565 smartphone and claims it’s the fastest on the market. The ASUS P565 uses an 800MHz Marvell processor that is faster than the 600MHz chips used in similar devices today. The Marvell processor helps multitask including displaying graphics on the phone’s 480×640 touchscreen as well as recording and playing back MPEG-4 video. ASUS has it custom Glide interface for solely finger input, without users from relying on the stylus input typical to Windows Mobile phones. Right now this phone is only limited to Europe and Asia.

Keian Digital Photo Frame, Printer and MP3 Player Combo

The Japanese company, Keian, has announced the release of its P71-A2-JP. This is product all in one combo that has a 7-inch LCD screen, a color photo printer, digital audio player and a USB port to connect external and flash-based hard drives. The printer can produce images from the 7-inch screen at a 300dpi sharpness. The photos or music can be played from the USB any connected flash drive, very cool if you want some tunes to accompany your slideshow.

Samsung Eternity Touchscreen Phone ATT

Samsung continues to increase its line of touchscreen phones with the new Samsung Eternity. The phone features a sharp 3.2 inch display with haptic feedback (it vibrates at the point clicked on the screen to give the user the feeling of realtime feedback). The Eternity also has Samsungs recently released TouchWiz interface and an accelerometer to take it up a notch. Also has more common features such as a 3 Megapixel camera, GPS, Bluetooth and full HTML browser. This touchscreen phone is available through AT&T Wirelss for $149.99 wtih a two-year contract.

The new BenQ MP624 DPL Projector makes a statement with its piano black finish. But also, more significantly, has very low operation noise, to focus your audience’s attention to be placed on the videos being played. Choose from the tribally inspired New World model by Joseph Amedokpo, the Shine Within model by Siobhan Gunning, the abstract Healing Patterns by Bruce Mau or the Seaweed model by Mike Ming. Most significantly, Dell is going to donate $20 to the Global Fund for AIDS for every laptop they sell to help save the lives of those infected in Africa. So if you want to do something good you can buy the Dell Art House Studio Laptop, prices start from $649 for the 15-inch and $799 for the 17-inch.

Bang & Olufsen the high-end home theater gear and car audio designer has recently announced the launch of its BeoSound 5 digital music system. The BeoSound 5 is designed to let users enjoy their digital music on their normal home theater gear. The main component of the BeoSound 5 system is a tabletop and wall-mountable remote controller that features a 10.4-inch LCD screen with 1024×768 resolution with an aluminium scroll wheel as the control interface. An interesting feature is the MOTS (More Of The Same) intelligent playlist software that creates playlists based on tracks’ similarities in rhythm, key tonality and other parameters. The BeoSound 5 system will be available in March of 2009.
