Alienware has moved away from its usual high-end machines to unveil the Area-51 750i. This Gaming PC is the company’s least expensive model but comes with the same popular lighted case, wiring and strong power supplies as the other more expensive Area-51 models.

The base model is very affordable at $1,049 and carries a 3GHz Core 2 Duo, a 750W power supply, a GeForce 9800 GT for video, 2GB of memory and a 250GB hard drive. However you can upgrade your systems to a quad-core 3GHz Core 2 Extreme, a 1,200W power supply, two Radeon HD 4870 X2s, 3TB of hard drives, Blu-ray and 8GB of memory. Alienware Area-51 750i is available for pre-orders.

Sony Xperia Touchscreen Phone with Windows Mobile

Sony Ericsson is releasing its first full touchscreen smartphone and its first Windows Mobile phone with the Xperia X1. However, its not going to be tied to any cell phone carrier, but instead will be sold as an unlocked device on the Sony Style website. The Xperia has a 800×400 VGA display, 3.2-megapixel camera, GPS, Wi-Fi and is 3G. A significant form factor is that the Xperia is constructed of a premium metal body. Sony’s new phone will be available for about $800 and is set to be ready for purchase in the last week of November.

Sony Ericsson W705 Walkman Phone and MBS-900 Bluetooth 2.1 speaker

Sony has announced a dynamic duo with the W705 Walkman phone, together with the MBS-900 Bluetooth 2.1 speaker. The Walkman phone is a slider type, with WiFi, shake control, a 2.4-inch display and a 3.2-megapixel camera. It comes complete with a 4GB memory card for all your awesome music jams. The phone also can stream music via Bluetooth to either headphones or the MBS-900 speaker. The speaker has a sweet monochrome OLED display for track titles and music settings, plus has an FM radio. Any music playing is automatically muted when the phone rings. The Sony Ericsson W705 and the MBS-900 will be available in early 2009.
